When To Schedule Your Newborn Session
Newborn sessions are ideally photographed within the first 5 to 14 days after birth. During this stage, babies are typically sleepier, curl naturally into those sweet newborn poses, and are still adjusting to life outside the womb.
Because due dates can be unpredictable, newborn sessions are best reserved during pregnancy to ensure availability on my calendar. Once baby arrives, we’ll finalize your studio session date.

Your baby’s comfort and safety are always my highest priority. The studio is kept warm, quiet, and relaxing to create a calm environment for both baby and parents.
Every session is completely baby-led, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, cuddling, and breaks whenever needed. There is never any pressure to rush through the experience.
With gentle posing and careful attention to every detail, I create portraits that highlight the softness, innocence, and tiny features you never want to forget.
Styling & Session Planning
Before your session, we’ll discuss the overall style you’re drawn to, including colours, textures, wraps, and setups. The studio includes a curated collection of newborn wraps, knit layers, headbands, bonnets, and simple props selected specifically for timeless newborn photography.
Parent and sibling portraits can also be included to capture the connection and love surrounding your new baby.
What to Expect at Your Newborn Session
Once your session is booked, you’ll receive a detailed preparation guide so you know exactly what to expect before arriving at the studio. From what to bring to how the session flows, everything is designed to make the experience feel easy and stress-free for your family.
Newborn sessions move at your baby’s pace. Some little ones sleep soundly through the entire session, while others need extra cuddles and comfort along the way — and that’s completely okay. There is no rush!
My goal is to create a relaxed experience where you can simply slow down and soak in these first days with your baby while I preserve them through beautiful, heartfelt imagery.
