Each session includes a personalized consultation prior to your appointment to discuss styling, colours, and the overall vision for your portraits. Sessions take place in a warm, calm, and welcoming private studio near Edmonton and St. Albert, thoughtfully prepared to ensure a relaxing experience for both baby and parents.

A carefully curated collection of luxury wraps, delicate layers, bonnets, headbands, and handcrafted props is available for your session. Every detail is styled with simplicity and softness in mind, allowing your baby to remain the focus of each image.

Newborn sessions are completely baby-led, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, cuddling, and comfort throughout the experience. My goal is to create a peaceful environment where you can relax while beautiful memories are thoughtfully captured.

Family and sibling portraits can also be included to document the love and connection surrounding your growing family during this meaningful chapter.

All selected images are professionally hand-edited high-resolution digital files, delivered through a private online gallery for viewing and selection.

Newborn Investment Details

Session Details

Newborns are best photographed in the first two weeks, ideally between 5-20 days new. This is when they are easily settled and often sleeping.

Includes a customized consultation before the session. Situated in a beautiful private in-home studio located in St. Albert. Large selection of internationally sourced, exclusive, handmade props. The classic session includes babies, parents, and siblings, and can include grandparents. All images are fully hand-edited, high-resolution digital files, delivered in a private online gallery for viewing and selection.

Platinum 30 digitals $1395.00 + tax

Classic Session 20 digitals $975.00 +tax

Mini Session (newborn only)

Includes customized consultation before the session. Situated in a beautiful private in-home studio located in St. Albert. Large selection of internationally sourced, exclusive, handmade props. The mini-session includes the baby only. All images are fully hand-edited, high-resolution digital files, delivered in a private online gallery for viewing and selection.

10 digital images $695.00 + gst

Additional Information

A non-refundable retainer of $350 is due at the time of booking to reserve a session date. The retainer cost is later deducted from the total package price.

Additional digital files are à la carte for $75.00 each.

Digital art is available for an additional $250.00.

* Prints and products are à la carte, as are additional digital images.
* Under no circumstances will unedited or raw images be released.
* Hair and makeup services are available for maternity packages only.
* $400 plus tax for Mountain locations within Alberta.

Clients must pay a $350 retainer that is nonrefundable as a deposit for booking. No session is scheduled before receipt of funds. This fee is deducted from your final package price. All sales are final; there are no refunds or transfers. Payments can be made via cash, e-transfer, or PayPal.

If other family members (such as grandparents, etc) are to be included in the photo session, then they are required to notify Michelle Sadée before attendance and receive approval.

Professional hair ($100) and makeup services ($125) can be available at Michelle Sadée Photography’s studio upon advance request.

Sessions are all-inclusive and don’t require any additional purchases to obtain your images.
They are yours forever, and you’re welcome to print them as you wish!

It was the first time we had left the house with our newborn and we were nervous and uneasy about how baby would do. Michelle made us feel comfortable from the start and was incredible with our baby. She is the baby whisperer! She was so gentle and knew exactly what to do to keep baby from getting fussy and keep her comfortable. So comfortable, our daughter slept through the whole 4hr shoot!
